Our friendly and experienced team of uniformed drivers are Ambassadors for Princess Coaches and, as such, play a pivotal role in our success. We believe that enhancing our driversí skills through training, coupled with our modern fleet of coaches will help us deliver a passenger experience, second to none.
In January 2007 we launched an in house training scheme, which is proving to be popular with the team. Building on this, in January 2008 our drivers embarked on a training and assessment program which resulted in NVQ accreditation. Then in January 2009 all the driving team and management completed their first seven hours of accredited Driver CPC training.
Our policy of continual professional development has seen the team of drivers embark on a range of further training modules designed to enhance their passengersí travel experience. The program includes first aid, team building, regular practical driving assessments, hazard awareness & perception testing and London driving hazards. In addition all the driving team are enrolled on the ROSCO (Road Operatorsí Safety Council) safe drivers` scheme.
We have also achieved Welcome to Excellence status, a customer service initiative backed by Tourism South East, with courses completed by all our staff and management.
Our customers are very special to us and we always aim to give a high quality service from enquiry to travel.
As part of our team building day we visited the Spinnaker Tower.
Driver CPC training was informative and beneficial to the team.
If our customers are smiling when they leave the coach, then we are happy!
